Training Centres
This centre is located at the old St. Luke’s Girl’s school and offers classes in carpentry, plumbing and other disciplines. Directions: From Bridgetown:Travel straight through the Norman Niles roundabout and keep straight through the roundabout at Constant, past the old Bulkley Factory and the Turnpike four-cross. Turn right at the Y-Junction, pass Buttalls and keep left at the Y-Junction at the Brighton Farmers’ Market. Keep straight past the first left and take the second left to St. Luke’s Church. Travel past the primary school and church and turn right at the T-Junction. Take the second left and the centre will be on the left. What Bus/mini bus to take
This centre is located in the industrial estate at Six Roads and offers training in Cupboard Construction, Joinery, and Computer Applications. Location: Six Roads, St. Philip. Directions: From Bridgetown: Travel along Highway 5, keeping straight at the Emancipation Roundabout. Travel straight along the road past the four-cross and Boarded Hall Police station on the left. Stay left at the Y- Junction and straight through Campaign, passing the pavilion on the right, Brereton, the old Carrington Factory on the right, and pass through Marchfield. Keep straight through the Six Road’s Roundabout, past the polyclinic and Princess Margaret Secondary on the left and Emerald City on the right. Turn left into the industrial estate and take the first right. Building #4 will be directly ahead and the centre is located at the back. What Bus/mini bus to take
This centre offers tiling and masonry in a relaxing country atmosphere. Location: Hothersal, St. John Directions:From Hothersal Turning: Turn right at Kelsi’s Supermarket towards Lears; keep straight at the roundabout going up Dayrell’s Hill past BBS on the right. Drive through Bourne’s Village past Cuthbert Moore Primary School to Market Hill. From Market Hill pass through Redlands and turn left at Villa Nova. Travel through Venture to Malvern. Turn right at Malvern Great House and follow the road to Edgecliffe. Hothersal Centre is on the right side on the crest of the hill. What Bus/mini bus to take
The CLA centre is where most of the Board’s Evening programmes are held. It also is known for its Agricultural and Engineering Skills Training programmes. CLA is the BVTB’s largest centre and it continues to be expanded. Location: Sayes Court, Christ Church.Directions:From Bridgetown or Oistins: Travel past Oistins and Enterprise towards Silver Sands. The All Saints Centre is known for its Bar and Restaurant Services and International Cooking programmes. It has modern cooking facilities, as well as a gazebo-styled bar and restaurant. Office Procedures and Housekeeping are now offered at this centre. Location: Mile and a Quarter, St. Peter. Directions: From Speightstown:Turn left onto Church Street, past the Maurice Byer Polyclinic on Station Hill; continue through Ashton Hall into Mile and a Quarter. The centre is easily visible on the right hand side, before the right turn onto Highway 2A.From Warrens:Travel along Highway 2A into Mile and a Quarter. Turn left at the T-Junction.
