Masonry - Beginners
Participants will be taught the basics of Masonry – introduction to batching and mixing materials, basic calculations, block laying and plastering, and techniques of plan reading.

- How do I become an Apprentice?
Completing an application form gets the process started. After this you must be:
- interviewed by an inspector and a potential host employer
- Accepted by the employer
Persons under 18 years must also be examined by a medical practitioner who will certify that they are fit.

- Can I work and attend STP?
No. Skills Training programmes cater to unemployed persons. The Board also conducts Evening programmes which cater to employed persons.

- When do Evening Programme classes begin?
Evening Programmes are run three times a year and begin approximately in January, May, and September.
